			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Within this article I will tell you <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>how to increase your vertical</strong></span> for when you want to slam dunk. Back in high school one of my biggest goals was to finally slam dunk  a basket ball. After years of training and putting in a lot of effort I finally was able to slam dunk in my third game in senior year. I wish that everyone is able to feel that same amazement that I felt when I finally pulled off that slam dunk.</p>
<p>I will explain two parts that any vertical program needs to have. While following a vertical jump training, you need to focus on directing your energy to improving your power. Increasing your power is the way to increasing your vertical. This power consists of two separate parts, speed and strength. A easy little equation can help you understand it better.</p>
<p>Speed x Strength = Power</p>
<p>1. Strength &#8211; How To Increase Your Vertical</p>
<p>How much force you can expel onto the ground to push your self up is your strength. You can use various exercises to improve muscle strength that is connected to dunking and vertical jumping. I highly suggest that you do a standard full squat to get your lower body muscles stronger, or even a split squat. You can really work those muscles in your legs that help jumping with these two exercises.</p>

<p>How hard you push off the ground isn&#8217;t the only factor, remember the equation, it is also the speed at which you do so. The quicker you can exert all that force the higher you can reach when jumping. You need to put effort into plyometric exercises such as tuck jumps, lateral box jumps, split squat jumps to increase these.</p>
<p>Other Important Notes</p>
<p>While training your slam dunking and vertical jumps you have to remember the power formula is only a single part of everything you need to consider. These other things to consider include fast twitch development, your jumping technique and neuromuscular connections. You can learn the best way to train all the facets with all the vertical jump programs we have in today&#8217;s world. I not only trained hard, I trained intelligently to see these amazing results that I have obtained. I found the right way to train the right muscles for what my body type was. All of the traits I went over was in the program I used.</p>

There certainly is quite a massive selection out there to be had, but the main question is just which one will be the best for my <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>jumping exercises</strong></span>?</p>
<p>Well then let&#8217;s take down to the best five jumping exercises that I found to work the best to help you do vertical jumps and let you reach new heights when jumping.</p>
<p>1. Lunges</p>
<p>One of the top jumping exercises to work on the muscles in your quads that let you do better in vertical jumps would be lunges. One of the great things about this certain exercise is, you can use weight to take the jump to a higher skill level. Stand one leg forward and one leg back, this is called the split stance. Then you lower your body and bend your knees to enter the lunge-position, keeping both your back knee and front knee within a 90 degree angle. Push back slowly while keeping weight in your heels to enter the starting position. Do not ever lock your knees near the top and never bend your knee down below your toes. The different types are back lunges, side lunges and front lunges. You need to do about 14 reps of this exercise anywhere between two and three times a week.</p>

<p>2. Squats</p>
<p>Squats are one of the top jumping exercises to build those muscles in your legs. You are able to use weights here as well, but you really don&#8217;t need to if you don&#8217;t want to. Keep your toes facing strait, and then stand with your feet spread out to your hips. Keep your body strait as you bend the knees and start moving your hips towards the floor. Keep everything pointing towards the same direction as you keep bending behind your toes. Never go below 90 degrees. Do this about 14 times per rep and about two to three times a week, but not back to back.</p>

<p>3. Push Ups</p>
<p>You build your shoulders, triceps, chest, abs, and back with push ups which can give you some extra strength for jumping. Balance on your hands and either your toes or knees while facing downward. You body needs to be strait down to your toes with your hands farther out than your shoulders. Never stick your butt in the air and don&#8217;t slouch in your middle. Then very slowly you bend both your arms while lowering your body, you stop as soon as your elbows reach a 90 degree angle. At this point breathe out out then raise your self back up. There are various types including the decline, the wall push up, the incline, and for you pain lovers out there, the one armed push up. Like the rest do this two to three times a week slowly adding a rep every time you preform the exercise.</p>

<p>4. Toe Raises</p>
<p>With this exercise you will be working your calve muscles giving you an extra springy boost in your vertical jump. First you hang your heels off of a ledge and raise up to your tippy toes. It&#8217;s usually preferred to do this on the bottom step of some stairs. After that lower yourself as far as possible then lift yourself back up. You need to keep at this for about ten to twenty times then you can start using weights.</p>
<p>5.  Step Ups</p>
<p>Much like how toe raises work, this exercise will work the leg muscle focusing on your quads. You simply put a flat foot up on a bench after stepping in front of one, then after that you simply step up on the bench. Then with your other leg you step back down.</p>
<p>These five steps encompass the foundation for any jumping training you do for your vertical jump. Everyone of these jumping exercises holds the purpose of helping your strength and fitness for every muscle that is important to taking your vertical jump to the next stage.</p>

Even if its baseball, basketball, running, or football, all its important to do the right jumping exercises. These sports are greatly affected by your ability to do vertical jumps.</p>
<p>The following are the best exercises to increase your vertical jump.</p>
<p>Squatting with Weights.</p>
<p>Staying consistent is the most key part of this workout. You either wear a weighted vest or hold weights in your hands and some squats. You won&#8217;t get the results you want if you don&#8217;t do the squats the right way. If you want to improve your vertical squats can be the most helpful for your workout. This is the key reason why you need to do those squats the right way.</p>

<p>The Side Box Jump</p>
<p>For this workout you need a box or crate or something similar that you can jump. This obstacle of your choice needs to be tall enough to give at least somewhat of a challenge, but not too high to where you can make the jump. Stand at one side of the box with it at your side, then jump to one side of the box then back again. Do 20 reps of this jumping exercises until you get better, and slowly increase the reps you do to make it a challenge.</p>
<p>Box Jumping With Weights</p>
<p>This is the same as the above exercise but gives better results. This is one of the more useful exercises for working on vertical jumps. With this exercise you stand in front of the box instead of keeping it to your side. Not only are you jumping over the box then jumping back over it, you need to use a pair of weights this time. The added weight from holding on to the weights makes your body become even more conditioned. This increases your ability to burst all that force at once when not wearing your weights. These workouts are called power jumping workouts.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>There are two kinds of people who play basketball-those who can dunk and those who cannot. Some might think that only tall people can learn how to dunk. However, this couldn&#8217;t be farther from the truth. While height might make it easier for a person to learn how to dunk, even the average sized man can learn. There are a few techniques which you could try to improve your vertical jump, but some work better than others. By just following these jumping training suggestions, you will be able to jump over 20 inches in just 6 months. Of course, you should always do warm up exercises even if you weren&#8217;t trying to improve your vertical jump. However, it is even more important that you perform warm up exercises when trying to build your body muscles because you can strain yourself very badly if you don&#8217;t.</p>
<p>If you want to start out with a very easy dunking exercise, the squat with weight is for you. To do so, bend your knees while standing and keep your rear straight. Slowly go down and then slowly return to standing. By performing this exercise regularly you should vastly improve the power and volume of your quad muscles. As you get better and better at this exercise, try applying weights to the process and increase the amount of repetitions. A good jumper can easily do 100 or more such squats. Try holding some weight like a barbell or a dumbbell on your shoulders while you practice these exercises to jump higher. Make sure the weight is perpendicular with the spine. You should decide in advance what days you want to focus on weight training and what days you only want to focus on speed.</p>

<p>You should not do these different types of exercises on the same day as they can be severely detrimental to your health. This is the most basic plyometric exercise you can perform and is one of the best exercises to improve the power and forcefulness of your leg muscles. By strengthening your legs, you have a better chance at learning how to dunk. Besides leg muscles, you can also do some things to improve the calves. Toe raises are one of these exercises and only require you to stand straight and raise your whole body on your toes. You should repeat this 50-100 times.</p>

<p>Another similar calf muscle exercise is to stand on a ledge with the front part of your foot. While doing so, hold onto yourself with your hands for a good amount of time. Repeat this process until you get tired. Do not rush yourself, do these exercises at the speed you&#8217;re comfortable at. Pumping up and down quickly will not help you. And it will strain your leg muscles. Try alternating between days where you exercise heavily and days where you relax or exercise very little. By doing so, you will be on your way to learn how to dunk.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>A 37 inch jump is nothing for a basketball player who hopes to turn pro. I kept trying to increase my jumping height, but none of the inputs or advice worked to help improve my 340 inch leap.</p>
<p>I just couldn&#8217;t take it anymore. I asked for advice from my trainer, who was also troubled by this, and he decided it was because of my genes and lack of response from my neurons. My problem was still not fixed, even after this analysis. It was almost impossible for me to learn how to jump higher.</p>
<p>Instead of becoming frustrated, i tried to improve in other areas. I went to a AND1 Tournament and I was blown away by my friends vertical explosion. I am taller than him, but his vertical explosion went up to 44 inches! I almost could not believe what I was seeing. I did not want to interfere seeing as he was from a different place and was not involved in the game as much; I still had to know his secret so I asked him how he did it. He told me his journey from becoming a weak jumper like me at 25 inches to a high flier at 44 inches.</p>
<p>He recommended a website to me called <a href="http://4c1fa1m8oyf8mbh86fsglhy-sl.hop.clickbank.net/" target="_top" class="external">www.JumpManual.com</a>, but I was wary to trust him because of the previous products I had used online to learn how to jump higher. Most of the online products were scams and their effects kept my jumping height stagnant or even hurt it. There was nothing else to do.</p>
